Turkey will hold an auction for 2 GW of wind power generation capacity next year, the Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK) announced Saturday.
Developers will compete for licences to build wind parks. EPDK will be accepting preliminary applications between October 3 and October 7, 2016.
The 2 GW of wind power in the auction are to be operational by 2020.
