Alexa is a Risk Manager working in the construction and development of offshore wind farms at RWE. She moved from Mexico to Germany for her master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and Management at the Hamburg University of Technology. At the end of her studies, she wrote her master’s thesis ” Evaluation of Methods for Risk Management in Offshore Wind Farms Development” at EnBW. Currently, she is responsible for analyzing life-cycle risks in projects, and determining the budget contingency using appropriate quantitative methods (e.g., Monte Carlo) to ensure successful project financing decisions. Her focus in development projects is on new technologies, such as Hydrogen. She is based in Hamburg, Germany.
Ana Laura Flores García (Mexico)

Angeli Silang-Arcangel (Philippines)

Angeli has been developing renewable energy projects mainly in the Philippines. Her primary work is in wind assessment and energy yield calculation. She was part of the team that started the existing 54MW Pililla Wind Farm. She is involved in the development of the 160MW Balaoi and Caunayan Wind Farm that is under construction. Assessment of operational wind farms is also one of her interests. She holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Electronics Engineering from Ateneo de Manila University, where her research focused on renewable energy.

Hanh is currently working at GE in Vietnam as the Business Development Manager, focusing on electrification solutions supporting the integration of renewable energy into the national grid such as onshore wind and potential offshore wind in the country. She was a part of the blooming time for onshore wind development in Vietnam within 2020-2022 as the Commercial Operation Leader, handling proposal preparation and negotiation to support proper WTG delivery, COD and Full-Service support after COD. Carol is Brazilian with Spanish citizenship, fluent in English and French. She is currently a Digital Advisor at Siemens Gamesa based in Madrid. Carol holds a Master in Science in Control Systems and Automation Engineering at the Rio de Janeiro Federal University and an Industrial Mechatronics Master Degree at the Grande Ecole Arts et Métiers ParisTech. The first chapter of her story with wind energy started ten years ago in a challenging start-up, working throughout her career not only in multinational corporations’ demanding paces but also in advanced research centers environments. She has had global exposure to new product/technology introduction projects in services/design engineering as well as O&M.
Dina Barcellos (Brazil)
Project Engineer – Floating Wind, Maersk Supply Service
Diná is a MSc. Naval Architect and Marine Engineer from Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. She is a driven professional, passionate about the wind energy industry and eager to contribute to the offshore wind development around the world. She started her career in Brazil in 2018 within the energy industry, and in 2021 she joined a disruptive floating wind company in Spain, working actively in the floater design optimization. She has recently joined Maersk Supply Service in Denmark as a project engineer, responsible for ensuring technical accuracy and quality for floating wind engineering projects. Diná also currently actuates as a volunteer mentor for Brazilian women engineering students who are aiming to enter in the wind energy industry.
Doha Ahmed Sherif Mohamed Hassan (Egypt)

Doha holds a Bachelor’s degree of science in Electrical Engineering she started working as an electrical engineer in the South Cairo Electricity Distribution Company in 2011. At late 2016 she started working in The Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company EETC the national grid operator in Egypt, She is working as a senior engineer in the IPP Studies Sector which manages the whole process of the development of the utility scale (capacity grater than 50 MW) renewable energy power projects through the privaite sector under the BOO scheme, her profession starts when tendering the development of the (Wind – Solar) project for the privaite sector then contracting the winning bidder up to the interconnection of the project to the national grid achieving the project commercial operation.
Eleonora Uliana (Argentina)

After studying Biology at the University of Buenos Aires (Argentina), Eleonora holds a PhD in Marine Geosciences from the Bremen University (Germany) and later continued her professional development with a specialization in renewable energy. She worked several years as a marine scientist and afterward moved onto the wind energy field. Since 2014 she has been working for WPD as a project developer in the Repowering department. As a Senior Project manager she has been involved in a wide variety of projects ranging from technical analysis of operational data (SCADA) to onshore wind farm planning. She has a large experience in the planning of new and repowering wind farms within Germany and Europe.

She was Worley Global Sale & Marketing Future Leader 2020/2021, Chairperson for Society of Petroleum Engineers (Singapore Section) in 2021/2022. Ntitiseng holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. She is also a Master of Engineering candidate, and her Masters research explores Energy Management Optimization in Renewable Energy Microgrids. She currently works as a Project Engineer for an Independent Power Producer which specialises in the development and operation of utility scale wind and solar energy facilities. Prior to this, she worked as a Design Engineer on various renewable energy projects through a global engineering consulting firm where she was seconded to the firm’s Australian office. She is also a member of the South African committee at the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) TC88 which governs standardization in the field of wind energy generation systems. Through her work, she has received a Top5 Finalist Award in the Energy & Environment category at the Rising Star Awards.

In a career spanning over 12 years, her association with the Wind Industry began in 2018, where she joined Vestas Australia as the Commercial Operation Manager (APAC region). Here she was responsible for sales forecasting and facilitating commercial transformation initiatives across the region. In 2021, she transitioned within Vestas to work with the Digital Solutions team, currently she is a Product Owner for Shop.Vestas. Early in 2021, Sofia moved to Portugal and started a new position within Vestas to support the Service Sales area and the multibrand business in the Mediterranean region. Zintle Nxadi holds a Civil Engineering Bachelor’s Degree majoring in Transportation Engineering from the Nelson Mandela University. She is project planner for Belgium, Netherlands, Luxemburg and Germany West. She worked as a Civil Engineering Technician and SME Manager at Omega Civils in Gqeberha, thereafter moved to work as a Site Engineer for Stefanutti Stocks at a Nooidgedagt/Coega Low-Level Scheme: Phase 3 and also worked as an interim Site Manager, mainly involved in the construction of the 45Mega Litre reservoir. She joined Vestas South Africa for the construction of the Wesley Wind Farm where she acquired site experience for the Wind Turbine EPC project, with her construction management background she joined the NCE Project Planning team as an East and Southern Africa Project Planner in 2021 and thereafter relocated to Netherlands to work on the BeNeLux market. Kawtar is a renewable energy sector professional with a focus on project development. After completing an engineering degree from Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Mines de Rabat in Morocco in 2017, she joined Moroccan Agency for Sustainable Energy (Masen) as junior technical renewable energy engineer. Passions, which gave her, an immense desire to understand the wind and how to use it to produce energy. Luisa moved from Colombia to Germany for her Master and there got a student position at Nordex Product Strategy team where she also did her Master Thesis understanding the relationship between the noise produced by turbines and the wind parks “Annual energy production”. After being a SCADA Sales Engineer by Nordex, Luisa is starting a new step in her career as Project Manager in the Concept Development department.

She has worked for one of the biggest projects in Vestas Mexico (Reynosa III 123 WTGs) and Vicente Guerrero (33 WTGs). She is currently beginning the project of Guzmancito in Domenican Republic (16 WTGs).
Busarin Premasathira (Thailand)
Assistant VP, Business and Project Development, B.Grimm
Busarin is a mechanical engineer with more than 10 years of experience in renewable energy and power generation. She holds a bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering and a master’s in Energy Conversation and Management from the University of Nottingham. Busarin has worked as a project manager and engineer for a number of wind, solar PV and biomass projects in Thailand. Currently at B.Grimm, she is a project leader for wind met mast installation in Thailand, Vietnam and the Asia-Pacific, as well as a project manager of a Thai-Vietnamese solar PV project.
Luiza Termignoni (Brazil)
Siting Engineer, Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy
Luiza grew up in Porto Alegre, Brazil. She holds an MBA from Fundação Getúlio Vargas and a degree in Chemical Engineering from Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul. She has worked as an engineer at PTZ Bioenergy Ltda in Brazil, DNL GL in Brazil and Chile, and SOWITEC Group GmbH in Germany. In 2017, Luiza joined Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy in Shanghai as a siting engineer. In her current role, she is responsible for the evaluation of projects with a focus on energy production estimations and on turbines suitability to the site supporting sales teams across Asia and Pacific regions, including projects in Japan, South Korea, Vietnam, Thailand, the Philippines, Indonesia and Australia.
Mercia Grimbeek (South Africa)
Compliance Manager, Mainstream Renewable Power
Mercia studied BCom at the University of Cape Town and completed postgraduate certification in Compliance Management and Values Based Leadership at UCT. Mercia has worked in the renewable energy industry since 2010 and joined Mainstream Renewable Power in South Africa in 2015, where she has oversight of all areas of regulatory and statutory compliance for operational and construction projects. She previously worked as a Project Development Manager, developing projects from greenfield to construction-ready status, and has also consulted to various IPPs. Mercia is the current chair of the South African Wind Energy Association, Chair of the Mainstream Social and Ethics Committee and a member of the Mainstream Global Ethics and Compliance Committee.
Swarna Priya Natarajan (India)
Lead Engineer, Vestas
Swarna is Lead Engineer for Vestas at the Global Siting Center, Chennai. She focuses on wind resource assessments and value engineering of projects in the DACH region, South Africa and the Benelux Union. Other responsibilities include wind turbine loads analysis, commercial optimization, reviewing projects and enhancing team competencies. She has previous experience in Asia Pacific and China markets.
Thembekile (Thembi) Marivate (South Africa)
Senior Technical Leader – Europe and SSA, GE Renewable Energy
Thembi holds a bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg and a master’s In Power and Energy Systems from New Jersey Institute of Technology. She has experience in engineering support services, power distribution and energy management projects. She previously worked as an Electrical Design Engineer, and worked as a consultant for The Gordian Group to the New York City Department of Environmental Protection. Thembi joined GE as part of the Renewable Energy Leadership Program, which includes intensive rotational assignments in Application Engineering, enhanced technical skills, developed commercial and sales competencies. Quynh Tran (Vietnam)
Postdoctoral Researcher, University of Hawaii
Quynh is an electrical engineer who has experience working with power systems and microgrids. Her research focuses on mathematical modeling and optimization techniques in power systems, with the integration of renewable energy resources. She formerly worked as a researcher at the Institute of Energy Science in Vietnam, and is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Hawaii in Manoa.
Wangari Muchiri (Kenya)
Board Member, Kenya Green Building Society
Wangari is a renewable energy engineer and sustainability expert based in Nairobi, Kenya. She holds a bachelor’s in Renewable Energy Engineering from UNSW and a master’s in Energy Planning and Policy from UTS. She is a board member of the Kenya Green Building Society and heads the Technical Committee conducting research in the sustainability industry in East Africa. She previously worked as a Sustainability Manager with JLL, where she helped pioneer the Renewable Energy Buyers Forum aggregating corporate offtakers to purchase renewable energy in Australia.
