Ambitious Chinese wind group Envision completed its biggest deal yet beyond its own shores with the purchase of a controlling stake in a 600MW wind portfolio under development in Mexico.
The deal with local developer ViveEnergia is also said to be the biggest direct investment so far by a Chinese firm in Mexico’s burgeoning renewables sector.
