The Global Wind Energy Council has invited the next generation of industry leaders to peer into their crystal balls and hypothesize about the state of the industry that they will be leading by the end of the decade.
In 2030, is the industry on target to deliver the interim targets needed to avoid a climate crisis? Have we solved the regulatory and policy challenges like permitting and grids? What has been the impact of game changing technologies in adjacent industries that have matured over the past decade (e.g. Power to X, storage, solar)? What will be the industry’s greatest challenges? And what presents the greatest opportunity? How will these leaders tackle the future?
