About Reshmi

Reshmi Ladwa is Head of Operations and Partnerships for Global Wind Energy Council and COP29 Programme Director for the Global Renewables Alliance. Reshmi has been with GWEC for three years. Initially working on climate change policy with the Council alongside studying for a masters in Energy Policy with the Scientific Policy Research Unit (SPRU) at the University of Sussex.

Reshmi attended COP26 and COP27 as part of a global wind energy delegation, supporting governments and the UNFCCC to deliver deliverable climate goals both in the NDCs and in COP negotiations. After leading the Global Renewables Alliance COP28 campaign last year, this year will mark four years of COP interventions with GWEC.

Reshmi holds an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering and recently qualified in Data Analytics at London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
