About Esther

Esther Fang Wen is the Senior Offshore Wind Policy Analyst at GWEC and with passion and experience working in the wind industry for over 3 years. Esther started as a Communications and Policy Coordinator at the Asia office, overseeing the overall communication strategy and operation in the APAC region. She later moved to a global policy role and has since been leading GWEC's offshore wind strategy and organising various policy activities in South East Asia and East Asia.

With a Chemistry degree, prior to joining GWEC, Esther worked as a product development analyst in a specialty chemical company and experience working within the start-up ecosystem in Singapore and in Sweden as she pursues her interest in social entrepreneurship.
