Windaba
Windaba Conference and Exhibition is the largest wind energy conference on the African continent bringing together some 600 international and domestic decision makers and stakeholders that are active in the region's wind industry. The 8th edition will take place at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC) from 6-7 November 2018.
The programme
With an emphasis on Investment the theme for 2018 is: “Investment for an Integrated Power transition”. The programme will feature 3 Plenaries, 12 breakaways - under 3 discussion streams and several peer-2-peer and B2B networking opportunities. The programme also aims to centre investment discussions on People, Policy and Planning with an additional stream of discussion focused on technical aspects of South Africa's evolving market.

WindAc Africa
WindAc Africa - the 'Academic Hour for Wind Power' - is the more technical and academic sister conference of Windaba;
WindAc Africa is a collaborative networking environment in which a dialogue between experienced researchers, motivated students and members of the wind industry is actively facilitated.
The third edition of WindAc Africa will be held on from 5-6 November 2018 in Cape Town, a joint event organised by South African Wind Energy Association and Global Wind Energy Council. WindAc Africa will be held in conjunction with Windaba 2018.
