This webinar will present facts and opinions on renewable energy technologies and their climate change mitigation potential. The aim is to provide the general public with a better understanding of renewable energy's role as a large-scale climate change mitigation solution and to evaluate the options and levels of renewable energy deployment required to stay below the 2C global warming levels.
The webinar will also provide direct feedback and recommendations from the representatives of the renewable energy industry on their ability to deliver the required levels of deployment and to which extent and in which form policies are required to achieve these levels.
