Mauro Soares

Mauro is a managing director in EOS Energís, a local consultancy specialized in energy projects advisory services including legal, regulatory, fiscal, financial and commercial issues. He currently consults to many companies across the renewables supply chain. Prior to EOS, Mauro was National Director for Renewable Energy at the Undersecretariat for Renewable Energy of the Ministry of Energy and Mines of Argentina where he was in charge of redesigning and implementing a new regulatory framework for the clean energy industry in Argentina.
He is an economist (Universidad del Salvador, Buenos Aires) and he has Master’s of Sciences in Management (Sloan Program, Stanford University). He has worked in the traditional and renewable energy industries for more than 20 years. He has held different management positions in the private sector where his last role was as Manager of Business Development for Tecpetrol based out of Buenos Aires. He has also worked extensively in the creation and growth of the Argentine Renewable Energy Chamber (CADER) and with other local NGOs and think tanks such as AERA, Fundación Avina, Directorio Legislativo, Escenarios Energéticos 2030, Fundación la Tierra Habla. He is Academic Director of the Executive Program in Renewable Energy at UCES in Buenos Aires and has been a professor of Energy Markets and Project Evaluation at the National Technological University (UTN) in Buenos Aires. Since 2011, and based on his background and contributions, Mauro is a member of the BMW Foundation´s network of World Sustainable Leaders. In 2018 Mauro was featured by Harvard University´s Kennedy School of Government in the case study that was written on the successful RenovAr programme.
Alexandre Spatuzza

A Brazilian national, Alexandre has covered business and financial news in the region over the past two decades for local and international news outlets including Bloomberg News and Business News Americas among others. He specialized in monetary policy and public finance during while working in Brasilia for Bloomberg and Bridge News.
Since 2007 he has specialized in energy and sustainable development, focusing more and more on renewable energy in the past few years.
Alexandre Spatuzza holds a journalism degree from the São Paulo based university of Anhembi Morumbi and a degree in biology from the University of Edinburgh, in the UK. He also postgraduate degrees in social networks and NGOs from the University of São Paulo (USP) and in management of media outlets from the ESPM in São Paulo.
Martin Parodi

Mr. Parodi has over twenty years of experience in Corporate Finance, M&A and Private Equity and joined Total Eren in February 2017 as Managing Director for Argentina where they have been able to secure 180MW of wind and solar project that are under construction. Previously, Mr. Parodi joined Enfinity (another European renewable developer) in 2008 and was the CFO and Head of Investment where he closed equity and debt financing above USD 1.5 billion in USA, Europe and Asia.
Before joining Enfinity, Mr Parodi was responsible for Project Finance at Banco Espírito Santo de Investimento where he was more broadly focused on the infrastructure sector like hospitals, tunnels, bridges and motorways and the renewable energy sector including wind, solar and bio-fuels all around Europe, USA and Canada. Prior to BESI, Mr Parodi worked at a pharmaceutical company focused on merger and acquisitions together with the corporate business of the Group.
Mr. Parodi holds a Master of Business Administration degree from IESE (Spain), a Master in Law and Finance degree from CEMA (Argentina) and he graduated from University of Buenos Aires (Argentina) as Certified Public Auditor.

Isabel Rodriguez is the Global Senior SF Manager at Envision Energy Limited sitting in London. She counts with over 15 years’ experience in debt finance and M&A transactions in the renewable energy arena and infrastructure projects.
Prior to Envision she was responsible for project finance and equity transactions in EDF Energy in London (focused on renewables in Europe) and Acciona Energy (focused on Infrastructure and renewable energy projects spanned worldwide).
Isabel holds a master degree from IESE business school in Madrid and a M.Sc. in civil and structural engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.
