Vestas has appointed Rogério Zampronha as its new general manager of Vestas Brazil. With more than 20 years’ experience in industry, finance and energy, Rogério joins Vestas after his most recent position as President of Schneider Electric Brazil.
Rogério will focus on implementing Vestas’ strategic roadmap in Brazil, an important milestone in which will be the opening of our newest production facility in Ceará, expected by the end of the year. Already in 2015, Vestas has won contracts to supply turbines for 12 wind farm projects in Brazil with a total combined capacity of 286 MW, the successful execution of which will be among Rogério’s top early priorities. Rogério will be based in Vestas Brazil HQ in São Paulo and star in his new role on Wednesday 2nd September, 2015.
