Global Offshore Wind Summit – Taiwan postponed to 12-13 October 2020

The Global Offshore Wind Summit – Taiwan 2020 has been postponed until 12-13 October 2020 and will be held at the Hua Nan Financial Holdings Conference Centre in Taipei.

The decision to postpone the event, originally scheduled for 21-23 April, has been made by the event organisers, the European Chamber of Commerce Taiwan (ECCT) and the Global Wind Energy Council (GWEC), in response to health concerns arising from the spread of the 2019 novel coronavirus (COVID-19).

After the success of last year’s event, the third edition of Vietnam Wind Power conference is coming back again this 8 – 10 June in Hanoi, Vietnam. In 2019, the event attracted more than 400 international and local delegates and featured 56 industry and government speakers. This year, the Global Wind Energy Council (GWEC) together with GIZ and the Danish Embassy in Hanoi are proud to organise this official industry event once again to accelerate Vietnam’s energy transition.
