With its significant and sizeable offshore wind potential, and strong industrial capabilities, Japan can be an offshore wind leader and seize the Asian offshore wind opportunity. Japan is well placed to be able to capitalize on these advantages, and deploy offshore wind at scale for both the production of power and green hydrogen. The 2022 Global Offshore Wind Summit – Japan organised jointly between JWPA and GEWC will convene the industry is convening to look at the future for offshore wind in Japan.
