About Ozen

Ozen is a sustainable development professional with 12 years of experience working with national and international philanthropic organisations. Her journey began at university, where she passionately volunteered with civil society organisations, eventually leading to her role as programme manager at the Sabanci Foundation, one of Türkiye’s most prominent family foundations.

Ozen has extensive experience in grant-making, collaborating with civil society organisations, and designing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating social change programmes. She recently completed her master’s studies in Sustainability Management and Innovation at the University of Westminster and is now working as the Grants Officer at GWEC.

Ozen is particularly interested in stakeholder engagement in sustainability management, building partnerships between businesses and civil society organisations, and advancing social sustainability initiatives that promote diversity, equality, and inclusion.
