About Emerson
Emerson Clarke is a passionate advocate for renewable energy and the energy transition. As an experienced strategic communications professional with a proven track record of planning and executing cross-border campaigns, Emerson has extensive experience working with corporations of all sizes, investors, governments, NGOs and trade associations.
Prior to joining the Global Wind Energy Council, Emerson was a Director at FTI Consulting, one of the world’s largest advisory firms, where he advised companies across the energy spectrum on their communications strategy. During this time, Emerson advised clients active across the globe on stakeholder engagement, market entry, government relations, fundraising and M&A transactions.
Emerson moved to London from his native Montreal to complete an MSc in Comparative Politics at the London School of Economics. Following his studies, he worked as an analyst in the Political Affairs section at the Canadian High Commission in London, building on his experience as Special Assistant to a Canadian Member of Parliament prior to moving overseas. He is fluent in English (mother tongue), French and Spanish.
