About The Event

A tremendous step-change in innovation and investment is required to address the urgent challenge of accelerating climate change. This invite-only event will convene 400 key stakeholders across energy, finance and policy for an evening of networking and debate on the energy transition. The evening is supported by MHI Vestas and Vestas, and held in association with RE100, RenewableUK, SolarPower Europe, RES4Africa and the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Partnership (REEEP).

The dinner will be solutions-oriented, highlighting the role of key transition technologies and addressing major challenges in market design, transmission and financing. Bringing together a range of clean energy technologies, the event will also address the imperatives for oil and gas companies and investors to become Paris-aligned and transition to a low-carbon world.

London has long-served as a leading financial centre in the world, and is at the heart of the conversation on decarbonising the global economy. Our ambition is for this evening to form the nucleus of a network that can transform investment in and deployment of renewable energy in the leadup to the COP26 summit in the UK in November this year.

Tickets will be released in April to those who have been invited to attend the dinner. For any questions about the event, please contact letd@gwec.net
