The Global Wind Energy Council (GWEC) has set up an offshore wind taskforce to back the sector’s development beyond Europe.
GWEC appointed Alastair Dutton – who helped spur Britain’s world-leading offshore wind deployment with roles at the Crown Estate and UK government – to chair the taskforce and named industry pioneer Henrik Stiesdal as its first global offshore wind ambassador.
