The Americans are preparing for their biggest annual wind power show – the AWEA WINDPOWER Conference & Exhibition – taking place in Orlando 18-21 May 2015. For the first time ever, the U.S. Secretary of Energy, Dr. Ernest Moniz will address conference attendees during the Welcome & Opening Session on Tuesday, 19 May. On Wednesday, 20 May, GWEC’s Secretary General, Steve Sawyer will update the audience on the Global Wind Energy Market and Business Opportunities during the ‘International Market Update: Opportunities & Challenges’, 3:15 – 4.30pm in Room S320E.
Thought Leader Theatre Sessions
On the exhibition floor will be a continuous string of topical presentations, including:
South Africa Wind Energy Association CEO, Johan van den Berg will speak about ‘Community Development Around Wind Farms in South Africa: Sustainable Developments Manifests’ on Tuesday 19th May, 11:30am -12pm 11 in the Thought Leader Theatre.
A Doing Business in Mexico session will be held in the Thought Leader Theatre on Thursday 21st May, 11:30am -12pm, led by Adrian Escofet of Amdee and Steve Sawyer of GWEC.
