Global Wind Capacity Could Reach 80 GW by 2021

A new study by the Global Wind Energy Council suggests global wind power capacity could reach 800 GW by 2021, Power Engineering International reported.

The trade group revealed global wind capacity grew by 54 GW installed in 90 countries last year. To date 29 countries have more than 1 GW of wind, and five have at least 10 GW.
