Europe’s top politicians will be at EWEA 2015


We are honoured to confirm the leading European politicians that will be speaking at EWEA 2015 Annual event taking place in Paris, 17-20 November.

Clear energy policy directions are needed for the growth of the wind industry. For this reason, EWEA 2015 will tackle the key issues and discuss the challenges ahead with Europe’s top politicians.

Confirmed speakers include:

  • Ségolène Royal, Minister of Ecology, Sustainable Development and Energy, France
  • Maroš Šefčovič, Vice President for Energy Union, European Commission
  • Marie Christine Marghem, Minister of Energy, Environment and Sustainable Development, Belgium

Offshore Village: gateway to the energy of the future


EWEA 2015 Annual event, the world’s largest offshore and onshore wind energy conference and exhibition, is an annual event that unites the whole of the wind energy value chain under one roof. Year after year, EWEA attracts thousands of offshore wind energy professionals from Europe and beyond from manufacturers, developers, operations and maintenance, and logistics and installation.

EWEA 2015 Offshore Village delivers a platform to communicate the latest success stories and case studies of established technologies and on-going progress in building an efficient supply chain to achieve an improved return on investment in the long term.

Technical Posters

250+ technical posters will be displayed in the poster area at the conference venue throughout the event. These topics will present ground-breaking research on topics including resource assessment, turbine technology and integrating wind power to name a few. Posters, in PDF format, will be available publicly on this page as from Monday 09 November 2015 so that you can take a look in advance and get your questions ready when you meet the authors when they will be standing at their posters during the poster sessions on Thursday 19 November.

Awards for the best posters will be presented at the Award Ceremony from 16:00-17:00 on Thursday, 19 November 2015.
