Corporate Knights, with the Global 100 Council, invites you to a networking coffee reception and launch event for leaders from global businesses, business leadership alliances, industry associations and governments to mark the release of our Action Declaration on Climate Policy Engagement.

The Action Declaration, which has been endorsed by over 50 global companies to be named at the launch event, outlines how industry leaders in the movement to decarbonize the economy will support ambitious action to close the say–do gap on countries’ emission reductions by:

1. Supporting climate action aligned with the Paris Agreement when engaging with policy-makers
2. Working with their major industry/trade associations to advance alignment with the Paris Agreement
3. Monitoring and disclosing climate policy alignment for their companies and their major industry/trade associations.

This launch session will be preceded by a one-hour networking session over coffee.
