About The Event

Colombia Wind Power 2020 will be an excellent opportunity to learn in depth how the industry is is progressing on projects awarded in the country’s first renewable energy auction last year, and how the industry can emerge stronger than ever after the COVID-19 crisis.

Specifically, we will learn from C-suite leaders how they are resolving bottlenecks such as administrative procedures and environmental assessment, where the social agenda takes on significant relevance, and the progress being made to meet the logistical needs of both land and marine transport.

In the program of this edition, we echo the growing interest in understanding the vision of an electricity system for Colombia that includes new generation powerand storage technologies. It will take into consideration the innovation, technological advances and economies of scale that are taking place in the wind industry at a global level, which offers enormous opportunities in Colombia considering its extraordinary wind resource and its immense unexplored potential to capture clean and affordable energy.
