Launched at GWEC’s APAC Wind Energy Summit in Incheon, South Korea, the “Global Wind Workforce Outlook 2024 – 2028” report highlights the need for many more wind technicians for the energy transition.
The expansion of wind energy in Latin America offers a unique opportunity to provide modern, clean, and inexhaustible energy, driving substantial socioeconomic benefits. This development is key to advancing a just energy transition by fostering job creation, infrastructure development, and enhanced energy security with a doubled potential by 2030.
The Global Wind Energy Council (GWEC) has been recognised as a finalist for the Organizational Leadership Award at the 2024 Equality in Energy Transitions (EIET) Awards, an initiative of the Clean Energy Ministerial.
Enterprise Singapore (EnterpriseSG), the Association of Singapore Marine & Offshore Energy Industries (ASMI) and the Global Wind Energy Council (GWEC) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) today to expand Singapore’s network with the global offshore wind sector and foster more project and innovation opportunities between Singapore and international players in this space.
