100% Renewables by 2030 feasible in Austria

The technical university of Vienna has published a new report showing that 100% renewable energy by 2030 in Austria would be feasible and would have a positive impact on the economy. The study analysis in detail the effects on grid and takes a close look on costs. A detailed comparison of supporting systems show that for Austria a premium system with fixed tariffs would be €170 million cheaper than a tendering system. The study is published on the website of IG Windkraft (only in German).
