GWEC'S GLOBAL MARKETS THEATRE AT WINDENERGY HAMBURG
World Bank Group and ESMAP Emerging Offshore Wind Markets: South and East Asia
The World Bank Group (WBG) has a strong track record in creating strategic programs that are designed to advance the uptake of wind power in emerging markets around the globe.
A key program in this work is the annual global offshore wind study tour. In 2022, the WBG has invited upwards of 15 nations to visit Hamburg as part of the ESMAP Study Tour.
The study tour consists of delegations from the following countries: Azerbaijan, Barbados, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, India, Morocco, Philippines, Romania, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Tunisia, Turkey, Vietnam and Uruguay.
In this session we put a spotlight on WBG delegates from South and East Asia who will provide a brief overview of the status of offshore wind in their respective countries and the audience will be able to ask questions and network with the delegates.
