Corporations that use renewable energy will soon be able to promote their green credentials using new international labelling scheme

The WindMade initiative that allows companies to demonstrate they use wind energy is to expand with the launch of an international label for firms that source any form of renewable energy.

The WindMade group, which is backed by the Global Wind Energy Council, turbine manufacturer Vestas, WWF and the UN Global Compact, announced today on the sidelines of the UN Climate Summit in Doha that a new labelling scheme will be launched next year.
