130 MW installed in Africa and Middle East  

In North Africa, the expansion of wind power continues in Egypt, Morocco and Tunisia, with 55 MW, 10 MW and 34 MW of new capacity installed respectively. In the Middle East, Iran installed 17 MW of new capacity.

The total installed wind energy capacity in Africa and the Middle East now stands at 669 MW.
