    Argentina fires starting gun on 1GW renewable energy tender


    Argentina has kicked-off a renewable energy tender to contract 1GW of projects via 20-year contracts which are expected to start operations in December 2017 – the country’s first such auction in six years.

    The draft tender rules will be published by the government’s renewable energy department over the next 24 hours at the start of a 20-day public consultation process.
