Five Government Ministries to participate at WINDABA 2012


The South African Wind Energy sector is more vibrant than ever. From 22 to 24 October 2012, the South African Wind Energy Association (SAWEA) in partnership with GWEC will host its 2nd Annual WINDaba event at the Cape Town International Convention Centre.

The dynamism of the industry is evidenced by the involvement of international big business and government. This official industry event is the quintessential must attend, if you are a stakeholder to the wind industry in South Africa (SA). Unprecedented, for a SA Renewable Energy conference and exhibition, no less than five National Government Ministries will participate in the 3-day conference programme. The high-level participation by the South African government includes National Treasury, the Department of Science and Technology, the Department of Trade and Industry, the Department of Energy and the National Planning Commission.
